I like Smurf's pan picture, the second one. Them zoo shots looking good, minor cages and stuff showing... noice!

SurGTR, I started off with a Panasonic Lumix.. yuh cyah beat that so. That's an advanced point and shoot, doh study the 'advanced' part because it's easy to use. And you can't beat the quality of the Leica lens on it. I had the FZ4 model, which is a 4MP.. I suggest one a little higher in quality, if you could make the price. In the end, good ting no cheap eh.. remember that. Put out the extra, and get something solid.. trust meh.

That pic was for a competition thing, I think that's how they wanted it. To show what was actually reflected. :)

Rensh, is the depth of field in those shots natural or is it post processing?

All natural, I doh have one picture with post processed D.O.F. It doh really look good, and is too much work to do anyway. 70-200 ftw. 8-)

Noice location there cheesepie.

SurGTR, get one boy. Photography is an excellent hobby, guaranteed to have fun with it.. if you really show an interest.

I already like some photo editing so photography would be a nice compliment!

can an entry cam take great macro shots like the shades smurf post up or do i need a special lens for that?

or just take a regular macro shot and add depth of field to it?
