Murder Toll count for 2008

Martin Fartin Joseph say we have the best murder rates in the world yes.

In anycase this still small I go start counting and being interested when we hit 100 murders a day.

When are people going to start asking the real questions?

Crime is in most cases related to social/economic issues. i.e. Where countries are wealthy, there is less crime vs. countries with high poverty levels where crime levels are higher (e.g. Hati)

So why in a country where money flowing like water, where we supposedly have low unemployment, where the goverment and business making record incomes, we have record crime rates?

And what is going to happen when the money run out?

As of today how many murders has trinidad had about 160+.
Jamaica' s murder rate right now is close to 500. :shock:

SRT-4, jamaica has 2.5 times the population of trinidad. 160 * 2.5 = 400

500/400 -> 20% higher than ours.

So we are now just on the heels of Jamaica in terms of murder rate.
