i use 26 rims, with a 2.4 on the front and a 2.2 on the rear....pressure is condition dependant.....hard surface 27-28psi but that's on the hard side, gives me a good mix of traction and rolling resistance....i was also fine tuning the suspension so did not play with tire pressure too much....

i don't need to use sealant since its a 100% UST setup, but i do put a bit in there for puncture protection....no idea how long it lasts as it has been there about a year already and change interval is recommenced at 6 months.....prob completely dry already....one day i'll check....but not today...lol

I'm running tubless on my front only with the origianl tires. Rear tire has a puncture on the side wall from BC.
Using bontrager XR3 tires with their sealant.
Waiting on a pair of XR3 TLR from Gene to change the rear.

How long does your tubless keep the same preasure when not in use?
Mine seen to run somewhat soft after a week or so.

after 3 months of sitting the rear is almost flat (because of a puncture it picked up...sealant prob degraded over time), the front keeps air but looses about 10 psi in a 3 month period...cant really say for a shorter period since i don't really check too often.....i'm more concerned with suspension pressure before heading out.

Well full suspension bikes are expensive , some sites to look at are jensonusa and pricepoint there is another one posted further up this page. If ur not in a hurry to ride and really want to do this project well go for it.

its time consuming and can be a headache....i've done it twice, and i've also bought complete bikes......some sites like http://www.competitivecyclist.com/ allows you you choose the components and they then build it for you....individual prices are reduced for parts when doing complete builds compared to buying individual parts and building yourself.....

any specific reason for wanting 29 though?

Shipping is really expensive on bike parts so be prepared well the larger parts anyway frame, wheels and forks crank wasn't much bars might be due to dimensional weight

I don't think so cause I just bought new race face 2x10 crankset it cost $113US and $145 tt landed which I think is not bad considering that the local stores don't carry race face

my skybox (aeropost) charges by weight only......if your skybox goes by dimensional weight......be prepared to get the shaft cuz the box is HUGE...

Same with mine (csf). Most of the local bike stores don't sell the high end stuff or the brand you want.

good to know, my next import I will hit them that line.

Current bike, I told customs it cost $300 and they charge me 35%. Had just enough cash to pay them.
