JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - 11 p.m. update: Tropical depression No. 6 has formed in the far eastern Atlantic, likely to become Fiona and after some strengthening and weakening.

It could become a hurricane in about six days. It is highly likely that this system will not ever directly impact the United States, possibly some larger surf in the Northeast United States in about 10 days.

But always remain alert, as there are at least four other systems we will likely see develop over the next 2-3 weeks. It's now after August 15, we have entered the heart of the hurricane season!
