For sure it started at midnight with heavy torrential rains...

4 or 5 little streams falling off my galvanize roof filled a empty barrel in 30mins...

lots of cloud to earth lighting near my house. Took power twice. Think it stopped falling around 3am an eased on an off until 6am. Was nice.

Right now it so nice an cool outside but I seeing people running their cars with AC on still.

Is the low pressure zone at the north western side of Venezuela, and the wave heading towards us, of any concern?

Looks like matthew dragged the wave with it and its solidifying there at the nw side of venezuela. We're in the clear for now unless the wave organizes into a seperate storm and starts travelling ESE back towards us. So... i think that's all folks. Work as usual in the morning. Could be a clear blue sky and hot sun day.

The split that occured earlier today only caused a temporary slowdown as matthew began resurging to new highs 2 hrs later to now be classed as a hurricane. Its heading plain west now so haiti might get spared. Was starting to feel sorry for them. Is back to the stone age with them if this ting hit them.

Dat is why I was asking about the low pressure zone in Venezuela. I was thinking it would influence a southward direction. It could weaken as it gets a pulled away from the heat sources. But then we have this next wave coming closer.

Yeah that low pressure zone is now about the same size as matthew itself. Matthew dragged it while smaller and almost looks like he's building it up. Those tugs from the SE i would say are definitely influencing matthew's path. It kinda looks like a second yolk trying to establish itself just SE of matthew that's been giving matthew extended arms since yesterday. It came out small then kinda dissipated, then got larger and dissipated and then larger and so on to reach the size it is now. It's pretty massive right now. Northern venezuelan coast could take a heavy beating. I think it's already started.
