Breeding discus was one of the most amazing experiences ive ever had. Most fascinating fish to keep imo. Seeing ur pair and fry has brought back so many wonderful memories of my days caring for these beautiful fish. All the best!!!

i have some of these low grade crystal shrimp for sale $200 per doz will have alot more varieties and some unique fish available by end of year / early nxt year PM for details if interested

that looks like rili, not low grade crystal.

On my 4 foot aquarium I have a aquaclear 110 and aquaclear 70 .This is more than enough filtration you could probably use the 110 alone and it would be fine .But it all depends on what type of fish you are keeping and how much.

Ok cool I presently have a small overflow Tetra PF10 and a small stellar air pump and sponge..
Fishes are 3 small kois a barb and a small shark.
I was told that submersible pumps are beneficial in that they help the fishes to exercise by introduction of a current and keeps the tank clean by stirring up whatever has settled.

considering this, not familiar with good brands in aquarium stuff.

EDIT Did some research, fluval and aquaclear seems to be highly recommended.
Aquaclear I see has a lot of optional addons..
