Those get twice the size of this one. Around 18 to 20 ft in length, Tigers and Great hammerheads.

1st bocas on a reef. It took a regular banking line, the hook got caught up in its legs. This is the 4th one we caught like that over the years in that same area, all giants. All in the evening or at night time as well

D stretch after Alcoa where plenty families go to lime, not the best spot but plenty ppl around.

Kingfish tournament was great this year and turned out gd with 19 teams entering...about 550lbs of fish made it to the scale with 520lbs going towards donations to children homes...we came out on top this year with 150lbs brought to scale...biggest fish was 27lbs...we came away with best male angler, 4th and 5th heaviest fish, heaviest cavali, boat pool and best boat...pics below...

Nice catch there. The kings were caught trolling with lures or slow trolling with live bait?

Slow trolling livebait...livebait was included in the tournament this year...usually is ballyhoo or lures...

Fb and Whatsapp groups may come and go, but Forum posts are archived and never die! That's the great thing about this format, you can always come and browse through information and old catches just like a familiar old book.

Went two Taza Sunday to a try for them kings, not a king bite, a million zorphy though....lol
