Well I have a diploma in met, certificate in ppo, 2yrs experience as an operator, 1yr as mechanical technician.
Just so people know is just to verify documents, and I've been through this process with them a fair amount of times and never got through, so my hopes not too high.

I've had similar experiences myself. Sometimes you hadda make a choice between your life or your job. I might not be making much money now, but at least I still living.

You might (might) get called for interview as a PO. What you applied for btw?

I got called in to verify docs twice. Were they particularly interested in any docs?

I applied for trainee operator, not sure if I'll get through though.
Besides Ya gotta do the exam before getting an interview, it's usually after the exam when they will actually "verify the list of successful candidates", if you know what I mean!!!

Also I think the main documents them interested in is your cxc and diploma.

I know for the apprenticeship programme they wanted 5cxc(including a science) and a technician diploma. That might get a person to the exam stage, after that point we all know what does happen...

I didn't find T-Bosiet was that hard.....it was a good experience and most of the guys with me were experienced and looking for the renewal or they had done it before and come back after the expiration date. As a result they had to do the course all over again.

If you did it six times before find out if you have to do the full course or just the (I think) the 1 or 2 day renewal. I think it applies if your certificate hasn't expired from the last time.

As always though congratulations on the success thus far and Good Luck!

Reminds me of my sister and the helicopter. It caught fire.
She end up in a next one and became stranded on the rig for the weekend due to bad weather.
Bless those guys, wished they can drip her off on a rock somewhere and not return.

Your best bet for operational experience is kenson on lady hailes avenue sando. Money small but you work directly under the badge operators

I'd really take his advice and try Kenson ... Tip, don't let Blair know you have more sense than him, else is serious hard time during your tenure

Males only

When I went to drop of my documents I saw a lot of females there who were called in to verify as well.
So is either petro going to hire women for the first time or them just calling for show.
My money on the latter.
