If you are not the DIY type. Then search "cabinet fans" on Amazon, there are some with temp sensors and quiet blade design to reduce noise.

I sell digital thermostats. They can be programmed to run fans.
Have a 12V batch on the way but the 110/220v ones can work just as well. The relay functions independent of the power supply. It can just open and close the fan circuit.

Hi
Looking to add 2 subs to my ht system. Any recommendations on where to demo and buy?
Looking for brands like SVS or klipsch. Current systems is all klipsch.

It's really a challenge to buy a piece of audio equipment without listening first. I hear rave reviews of the bose soundsport for example, tried it, underwhelmed, and will likely fall out during running. I did by my 5 channel without listening first though, due to years of owning the same brand and listening to several others from the line over the years.

I feel so too, BUT I'm sure there are some benefits to the aftermarket packages.

Unless its a specialty product like say danley th spud or down firing sub ( which is easily done diy as well)
the only real benefit of the brand name subs that are in regular ported bass reflex or sealed is only probably the aesthetics

with inukes and crown xls, power is now cheap and lightweight, aslo a wide variety of subwoofers are now availabe for a fraction of the cost compared to say 10-15yrs ago

TIme to build maybe the problem for someone but with a few decent box builders locally that is not even an issue

front stage speakers now, well its easier to get it wrong DIY

The problem with demoing a sub is that the demo environment may be drastically different to the home environment. So acoustics may differ.

I am not sure that there are many places that demo speakers in Trinidad.

I can tell you that I have one definitive technology super cube 2000 and that sub thumps. But my room is approx 14 X 14.

Why you want two subs? What size room are they going in?

Btw, if you already have klipsch, chances are there is a sub to match your speakers. See what's available. I am sure that if you use the klipsch sub for your speakers, the sound will be great.

What speakers do you have?

multiple subs decrease anomalies of room modes. though sub bass wavelengths makes one sub easily fill a room, theres always an audible sweet spot. Having more than one sub decreases that likelihood.

I agree totally with xfactor, diy will be cheaper and yield better results for the dollar. Even the aftermarket plate amps now are coming with dsp that correct for said room modes etc. Dayton audio has a few models that do this.

Pablo, are you going to buy that ep4000 or do you already have it? If you don't already own it, I suggest the inuke dsp series instead. Should be cheaper and pull less current and the smallest model does around 750 rms bridged.

Ok I bought the inuke dsp 1000 and quite pleased , it’s powering the sub well but now the surround is torn, not due to play but time. I put a massive gtx10 in enclosure running one channel of the amp and its sounds good.
I will get the sub repaired

Awesome Pablo. I have a Crown xls 1000 on my HT sub but I had found the output level from the receiver was kinda low. I ended up buying a Behringer phono preamp and boy, what a world of difference. I read up on them on partsexpress forum, I`ll check back to see but I know since the time I was researching for myself, both the Crown and Behringer models have been upgraded.

Soundstream...I have the same amp for my subs as well. Pretty good performing amp. Very light and efficient. Driving two 15" Dayton classics tuned to 21hz ported.

now to ditch that 10 and get a decent 15 or 18 with a low fs and decent xmax
once you have the space for a proper sized enclosure
