It's looking nice thus far. Cant wait for June for iPhone 4.0. I just hope that winmo7 is coming out for the HD2. It is looking super great.
Finally got to use one just now and that HD2 is sweet. WRT to basic functionality, its really makes you think different about winmo os

Let's be clear: Microsoft had no other option than to come to Mobile World Congress this year with a scorched-earth, ground-up rewrite of Windows Mobile, because anything less would've sent a very clear message that the company was -- for all practical purposes -- officially ceding defeat in the white-hot smartphone war. Actually, scratch that -- they needed to fundamentally reimagine the platform altogether, and amazingly, they seem to have managed to pull it off. For a company as steeped in its history and set in its ways as Microsoft tends to be, don't underestimate what a powerful realization that is.

Microsoft's own Windows Phone 7 device will be made by Asus?

Windows Mobile is reborn. We all met the new Windows Phone 7 and by the end of the year we'll meet the first smartphones based on it. Reportedly, Microsoft will launch their own phone in early 2011 as well. And it will be made by Asus.

With the Windows Phone 7 Microsoft didn't start a new chapter in WinMo's history. They started it over. We'll see if it's for the better or for worse.
According to the Northeast Securities analyst Ashok Kumar, there is more to see from the company. A Microsoft branded mobile phone. Currently, it's in the works and is expected to be ready for its premiere sometime at the beginning of the next year.
Microsoft's own Windows Phone 7 smartphone will be a touchscreen-equipped bar made by Asus. None of the companies have neither confirmed nor denied that so far.

whos version you using oem/fireburned/rose etc imo the custom roms are your best bet for stablity and performance get a "cleen rom" and add your own apps as needed. i had my touch bout 3 devices ago i gotta check see which rom i was using it was uber stable have the rom on a backup disk somewhere.
