No they are renting it from V&V

It says V&V rentals on the side of the truck. The people who are renting this is the coconut fellas in St Helena they also do wedding DJ their name for this is Champion Sounds. I think they have a big banner somewhere infront of their house advertising it. When I asked one of the coconut fellas why are they making so much noise in the night this is when he said its a crime initiative putting god first and all that kind of assness.

I tried explaining to this youth that there is no evidence of God or that prayers has any effect on crime and that they are disturbing people when they are sleeping, but they don't want to hear that.

Oaar! But for real, people in Trinidad have no care or concern for people's right to peace and quiet in their own house. If they fell to hear Indian or reggae music, you have to listen to it too, and at all godforsaken hours late at night , wee hours of the morning and even during the day. Firecrackers and scratch bombs, bamboo, you name it. No police doing anything about it too.

So far them reach with that dotishness? I say was just their house in St Helena to Las Lomas. These are the people who live on the corner just before constantine trace, before the number 2 pennystone bar and the new bar that just open. One of their house burn down recently.

These people are a major problem, people tired report them to the police nothing is ever done. Them have "document" from the police to do this apparently, I assume its the same kind of "document" that COTT does give video clubs to sell pirated foreign movies.

Its a white trailer truck with a long trailer attached to the kind that transports excavators, they have sofa and thing on it aswell. Saw 2 kids on the Sofa, goes to show the intelligence of the adults having young kids exposed to that kind of noise.

Well these people does be a major pest for Carnival when they blasting the Soca, so I was very surprised that they decided on this retarded "crime initiative" now.

It is so unexpected you won't hear them for a week and just so they will pick a random day to pass. What a lawless country we live in yes, Banana Republic FTL

Unfortunately we have tried that, the bass is so powerful it vibrates your heart even all the way at the back of the house. They sometimes play Soca music aswell or Chutney etc And the Bajans they playing right now are those remix kinds that have bass and sheit added to it.

An unfortunate reality when the law condones this. As we speak I can hear them going through each side street and reversing out, its almost like if they are spraying for mosquitoes so they want to get every nook and cranny this is the level of assness I am talking about padner.

ED as I tell you in another thread best you move to the Beetham. You wont have any of these UNC problems.
And i am pretty sure the law does not condone it . they probably get a permit to play at a venue but not along the route
if you want you and your unc neighbour could park like ass on the road and block the truck . ask to see their paper work for playing along the route .
this is the law below

Permission required for operation of a Music Truck
In order to legally operate a music truck in T&T, the following permissions are required:
1) Motor Vehicle Licensing Authority requirements -
 The vehicle to be used must undergo and pass an inspection with an
accompanying inspection sticker issued and displayed on the front windscreen of
the vehicle at all times.
 The operator of the vehicle must obtain written approval which stipulates the
date, duration and how many passengers are approved to be on board the
vehicle during the playing of amplified music.
 All original permits and documentation related to the operation of the music truck
must be kept on the vehicle during the approved operation time period.
2) Trinidad and Tobago Police Service requirements -
 The owner/operator of the vehicle must obtain written approval from the TTPS for
playing of music.
 The written permission stipulates the date, time, vehicle registration number, start
and stop times for playing music and a description or map of the route to be
used.
 Music trucks are also required to have a Police Escort throughout the approved
route.

Operators of music trucks who fail to obtain permission, or fail to comply with approved permits,
can be issued fines by the EMA’s EPU, the TTPS or License Officers of the Motor Vehicle
Licensing Authority. Additionally, the EMA’s EPU, the TTPS and License Officers have the
authority to order music trucks to immediately cease operation if they are found to be in breach
of any applicable regulations.

Noise Pollution
Noise Pollution Control Rules

The Noise Pollution Control Rules, 2001 (NPCR) is a piece of legislation created under provisions of the Environmental Management Act Chapter 35:05. Through the NPCR, the EMA seeks to control levels of noise pollution in various environments for the benefit of all.
The NPCR sets prescribed standards for noise and controls the emission of sounds in the environment which are considered to be noise pollution.

The NPCR refers to a ‘Variation’ as a deviation from the prescribed standards or sound levels. Once approval is granted, this document allows for the applicant to vary from the prescribed standards, but also limits the level of sound that can be emitted.
Outside of the NPCR, there are over ten pieces of legislation that equip the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service with the powers to address the issue of noise pollution.
