Guys, I'm up for a new pc build. This will be used for mid gaming and more media. These are the parts I'm thinking of.

Asus ROG Strix Z270E Board
Intel Pentium G4500 Processor (Will upgrade to an i5 or i7 later down)
Trident RGB 16GB DDR4 2400MHZ RAM
EVGA 750 Watt PSU
Nvidia 1050 Ti OC 4gb Card

I am looking for a case that supports a clear side with 4 3.5 drive bays, 1 5.25 bay and 3.5 front bay.

Any info will be greatly appreciated

check the power consumption of that cpu, because u might be able to comfortably use a 500w psu.
and unless ur getting a serous deal with the pentium, go with an i5 off the bat. the price to performance real low with the pentiums, (from reviewers) and if ur gaming, u really should be with a minimum of 4 cores as reviews said the gaming isn't worth it for the pentiums.

does the 'Z' in the mobo mean overclockng? if it does, make sure and get an overclockable cpu. if it is a non over clockable board, u can save money and get a non overclocable cpu. why spend money on features u wouldnt be able to use.

if u do go overclockable board/cpu, get a water cooler for ur cpu.

So new Nvidia Titan Xp is released to replace the unofficially nicknamed Titan XP. Kinda sucks if you were an earlier adopter for Titans.

anyone here ever used these mounts?

In case anyone was thinking too, I just had to share my experience! They are amazing! and VERY sturdy...

It was actually the Triple Mount I got, but took off the right side until I get another to match the left. You wont be disappointed with this setup... Extremely versatile!

PC building gurus need some powerful advice

Came home today only to notice my PC off when I put it on I noticed the CPU at 89c and not booting this weird because I normally get temps of 25-35c and there was no load on the computer

So I took it off and let it cool, tried booting again but same error, but CPU temp in bios @ 41c but climbing fast .

Any suggestions on what the problem might be?

Specs

Intel 6700k
Asus rampage v10 x99
Corsair AIO H110 cooler

Temp sensors on the board is fine

I'm thinking to check thermal paste then cooler then processor

Thanks

First things first.. that CPU and board dont and won't work together. Check and see exactly what CPU or board combo you are running.

I could guarantee you that you don't have a 6700k. Maybe a 6800k.

Maybe there's a pump failure. Substitute with an air cooler and try again.

Locally, I honestly don't know. Maybe someone else can help. Off the top maybe circuit zone or wizz might have.

Yep I was 100% sure it wasn't a 6700k. And I agree with awesome diagnosis. Could be a failed pump.

Big air for the win... Well it's the most reliable anyway...

Could be clogged or damaged pump... Hope you get it sorted

**Update**

Correct diagnosis, turned out the cooler failed, installed a air cooler for now.

Not sure if I'll go with another AIO cooler or full watercooling loop. Maybe you all can shed some light

Unlikely Volta, at least the initial releases would be anything other than professional or precision compute parts. Consumer parts would not come until next year for the earliest maybe as early as March, yields permitting on 12nm, hbm2/gddr6.

So no. Not soon but by next year all this time so.
