Looking for some 140mm pwm fans. None listed in the classifieds and supertech don't have either. Who could point me in the right direction? I don't want to ship them in but I will if I have to.

Where in trinidad sells PCIe extender cables?

Yea guys definitely don't hesitate to jump on Ryzen, price/ perf is amazing.

Alot of the early platform teething issues have been ironed out, just make sure to get the right ram, you want the ones with Samsung b-die, guaranteed rated speeds. Prepare ya wallet tho cause ram real pricy right now.

The tridentz is top quality stuff, worth the $ for sure.

Specs is R5 1600 @ 3.8 Ghz / 1.373v, stock cooler, going under water soon

Asus crosshair vi hero

16gb tridentz @ 3200Mhz F4-3200C14D-16GTZR

980Ti, gonna hold out for Volta nxt year as this card performs like a beast @ 3440x1440p

850 evo 1tb

Evga 850w supernova g2

I have 3 of these
NF-A14 iPPC-3000 PWM
Used after for a few weeks then put back in the box
As there are too noisy for me
Pushes more air than any PC fan I've ever seen
Fan assembly itself doesn't make noise... . The air going through makes a hum like a WW2 era dive bomber

I still can't believe how AMD wipe the floor with Intel.

Even the top spot Threadripper mop the floor with the best that Intel has to offer.

It is possible that will change with the core i8. But AMD has a real marketing department now so the next gen Intel may not be a huge threat to AMD. For Example just last year everybody buy a new motherboard for Skylake and now they saying you need another new motherboard for coffeelake because its a different socket?

Who the hell going and swap out motherboard, reinstall windows etc? when someone buy a motherboard they expect that socket to atleast last a couple generations or more, not dead in just 12 months. WTF

Intel did the same to AMD a long time ago with Conroe... AMD wasn't competitive for so long that Intel rested on their laurels and were completely blindsided by Ryzen. But Intel's IPC is still a lot better than AMD

Intel still has AMD beat on the lower end which tends to make up the bulk of sales and profits

At this point it makes no sense to buy intel at all, because if they forcing you to change your motherboard you bought just last year just so you can use coffeelake CPU then what is to say they won't do the same next year?

basically Intel kick everybody in the testicles who bought into their Skylake scam. Now your fancy motherboard is worthless.

AMD has made it clear the current AM4 boards will support Ryzen to Zen+ to Zen++

There is literally no point in buying Intel even if coffeelake manages to beat AMD by a small margin. You still better off going for AMD since the upcoming ZEN+ using the same AM4 mainboard.

I should ah wait and buy AMD but sadly when I bought my new Intel Haswell motherboard and rebuilt my PC it had only 1 month left to go before I could get Windows 10 free from Microsoft. And that was the main reason I couldn't wait for Ryzen.

If I could somehow transfer the key from this Intel motherboard to an AM4 motherboard would be really great.

Why can't you? Use a program and get the key and when you install on the new machine just use it.

Your windows 10 license is digitally transferred using your microsoft account when you change hardware so no issue there.

Intel does have stronger single threaded performance yes but it makes little difference when going up in resolution (in terms of gaming & except for 144hz+ displays), you'd be more gpu bound at that point which is why I went with Ryzen. Was waiting for coffeelake also but I'd pay well over $300US + extra compared to a Ryzen build, the price/perf just cannot be beat.
