hey MadCrix.....thanks for the heads-up on the FT-86 II Concept '11 .......just purchased the paint pack and got the car........ :elephant: :wiggle:

and guys....they deleted some of the older seasonal events, but the few older ones that they left, they changed up the the prize structure, and now when you complete all five (usually) you get a level -- gift car coupon......but even if you already ran the events and got golds, don't worry, just enter the events and you will still get the prize coupon

Here a list of Standard cars that you may have thought you could not change and paint the rims on....but you actually can:

Acura DNX Concept - Looks like a real supercar afterwards
Amuse - All the Amuse cars can have new rims
Blitz Nissan ER34 Skyline
Buick Special - Big alloys, raise the front ride height for that hip-hop look!
Chevrolet Corvette Z06 C2 Race Car
Ford GT LM - The modern GT with the classic Gulf colours
Ford GT LM Race Car - White version of the test car
HKS Genki Silvia - Surprising, but also a little pointless, as you cannot colour them in the split pairing like the stock ones
Honda Integra Touring Car - Looks much better for having the big 6 spoke white alloys
Lotus Motorsport Elise
Lupo Cup Car
Lupo Gti Cup Car
Mazda 6 Touring Car - Presumably the Mazdaspeed version can too, haven't checked yet
Mazda BP Falken RX7
Mazda RX7 LM Race Car
Mines - Both the Skyline and Lancer can have new rims
Mitsubishi HSRII Concept Car - Looks rather good with new wheels!
Nismo - All Nismo cars can have new rims, and all look amazing afterwards!
Nissan 350z Concept LM Race Car
Nissan Fairlady Z Concept LM Race Car
Nissan Gran Turismo GTR
Nissan Gran Turismo GTR Pace Car
Nissan MMR Cup Car
Nissan R390 GT1 Road Car
Renaulsport Renault Sport Clio V6 Trophy Race Car
Renaultsport Lutecia Renault Sport Trophy Race Car - Surprisingly you can't change them on
either of the road models of these Clios
Spoon Fit Race Car
Spoon Honda S2000 Race Car
Toyota Altezza Touring Car - This car really needed a boost in looks, and the new wheels
certainly make them look much better!
TRD Toyota Celica
Trial Toyota Celica
Volkswagon Beetle RSI - I didn't think this would be possible

Source : http://www.gtplanet.net/lamborghini-aventador-route-x-circuit-more-in-leaked-gt5-2-03-details/

Apparent information about Gran Turismo 5′s third round of DLC has appeared here in GTPlanet’s forums. According to “Space Empire”, GT5′s 2.03 update will be launched on January 18th, and will include a few of the following new changes and features:

New themes for My Home in GT Mode.
An option for tire wearing in Pit Strategy (B-spec).
Simulates regenerative braking on electric cars.
Chaparral 2J Race Car ’70: Fan down force option.
Fixed unintended pit stop error in the final lap of a B-spec race.

New downloadable content packs will, reportedly, also become available. The “Speed Test Pack” will include the new “Special Stage Route X Oval” revealed in the recent Honda NSX Concept video, and Car Pack 3 will include the following new vehicles:

Nissan Leaf G 2011
Aston Martin V12 Vantage 2010
Volkswagen Volkswagen 1200 1966
Jaguar XJR-9 LM Racecar 1988
Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 2011
Mini Mini Cooper S Country man (R60) 2011

As always, until this information is officially announced and verified, things could change, so you’d be wise to temper your expectations. Regardless, this appears to be legitimate information, so stay tuned for further details as they develop.

Special thanks goes to Space Empire for discovering and sharing this material, and thanks to Carlos Fandango and diegorborges for making me aware of it on such short notice!

The latest Gran Turismo 5 update, version 2.03, weighs in at 225MB and is currently going live around the world. 2.03′s new features were leaked, but have now been officially confirmed by Polyphony Digital:

-12 new My Home theme colors and 12 new wallpapers for [GT Mode] have been added to the game. Please find these from the [My Home Settings]-[My Home Design] menu on the left side of the screen.

-Tire wear speed prediction has been added to the pit stop decisions in B-Spec, to prevent tires from wearing out completely during long races.

-Regenerative braking (which recovers energy by converting kinetic energy into electricity) in electric cars have been made stronger to extend driving distance.

-Electric cars will now also creep forward (as in standard automatic cars) when the brake is released without pressing the accelerator.

-Regarding the Chaparral 2J race car’s performance points, the increased performance factor due to the downforce produced by the fan is now calculated.

-A issue has been corrected where the car would pit in unintentionally during the last lap of a B spec race.

It rel decent but that's the only car in that dlc that's worth it ...all I have is $4 remaining I guess I'll wait for another cheap dlc to come out and see if it's worth it.

In my opinion the speed test track was worth it ....it's a lot of fun online and I could finally tune my cars for the 1/4 mile drag !!!
