Adverse possession is 16 years for private lands and 30 years for government lands.

If it's just one lot, you could plant a few more trees and spray everywhere else with diuron to prevent grass and brush from growing.

lalloboy101 wrote:Can anyone tell me or point me in the direction, what can be done about vacant land next to me that is not maintained? I've lived there 4 years and never met any owner nor anyone knows who owns it. I have to cut the entire lot (50'x100') as its a fire hazard. I live downwind and can feel the heat even a lot away. I've planted some ornamental tress on it and that's it, people drive by and throw their garbage and I have to clean it up. Even a dog owner a street away walks his dogs next to me to crap, told him about him but he couldn't care less.
Complained to the councilor and no help

Tuners, based on your experience and knowledge, if you had to make a choice between Damus Roofing, RoofmanTT and Lifetime Roofing, which would you choose?

I compared a Damus and Lifetime when I was building my roof.
I went with Damus because of the price. I used Standing Seam with the pvdf coating and no moss at all. Roof built about 4 years now.

So far Damus and RoofmanTT had similiar quotes...RoofmanTTs proposal and presentation/service edged Damus however, I am leaning towards Damus based on "familiarity" of the name? But 10yrs warranty from RoofmanTT.

in the grand scheme of things 10 years is nothing. a roof should last 30 years + 10 years just looks impressive

I went to them recently, they use less materials and I don’t trust them at all, used Lifetime roofing and I wasn’t disappointed. Very reasonable prices, and all the bolts and screws I bought it in ScrewTek In barrackpore

Don't buy good sheets and then use inferior screws. It defeats the purpose. Buildex screws are excellent.

There are companies using Chinese sheeting material ,stay far from them. The colour fades in months, plus they rust(even rot) in no time at all. I used one suppliers material (from Penal) because it was close to where I was putting up two buildings. It lasted less than a year, colour faded, and I had to change all in a few years because of the blackening. Lifetime or Varma is my choice of supplier since ,and I'm having no problems.

I saw some where the rubber seal became brittle, came off and caused leaks.

I always used Varma materials with no problems at all...but I am leaning towards Damus or Lifetime cause of the full supply and install options...dont have the time i used to.

Aye guys, anybody could give me an average estimate per linear foot of what it would cost to do a chain link fence like the pic below? Upper and mid reinforcing pipe with concrete capping at the base.

Just a tip, cost will vary based on the size of the wire you buying too, there are thicker ones that last a lot longer and then there are cheaper ones that don't last too long
