Yeah. Its connected via cable. Getting 60Mb with out VPN. Once connected to VPN its below 20Mb. Have tryed Pia, Private Tunnel ,Air vpn and IPVanish. Air vpn and Private Tunnel work best for me.

With the most of vpns now admitting that they do keep & sometimes sell your info & browsing info/slow down your package to make you get a more expensive on,most techs i know advise against them now.Unless you live in parts of the world that they crackown on using the boxes there isn't any need for a vpn unless you want to watch geo locked stuff.

Flow doesn't care about your streaming, considering they are stealing most of their cable channels they charge us for.The benefit of living in the 3rd world country.

Flow really doesn't care about people using torrents or watching porn. Unless you maybe have some rear A Grade stuff from Rocco Siffredi in his prime I doubt anybody actually cares about your porn history.

That's the iptv servers not flow, already said iptv is not a 100% reliable with poor signal quality and kick outs, especially these past few months. They keep blocking them so they are constantly looking for new sources almost everyday. There are paid iptv services but they are also illegal & take your $ and run when they get shut down.Only legit one i know is ustvnow but it's only for us citizens.

Flow Internet Thread

Postby dredman1 » February 25th, 2018, 11:31 pm

So the FLOW set top box that came with my Ultra bundle had a firmware update yesterday.
Icons and menu display are slightly different now, but the tv guide disappeared (the entire screen shows blank in all timeslots)

Anyone else experienced this as well, or is there a setting to toggle the tv guide info on and off? Checked the menus but didnt see it.

I usually just unplug the cable box for a few seconds and that solves the problem.

Finally dropped Blink broadband for Flow this week after having TSTT internet for 17 years.
Took the Basix package for now just to test/evaluate as they say I can up the speed at anytime getting it within one day notice.
Advertised as 5Mbps but typically comes in at 7-8Mbps.

Setting up 802.11n Channel Bonding

802.11n products normally do not enable channel bonding by default but instead, run in traditional single channel mode to keep the risk of interference low. Both the router and wireless N clients must be configured to run in a channel bonding mode together to achieve any performance benefit.

The steps to configure channel bonding vary depending on the product. The software will sometimes refer to single channel mode as 20 MHzoperations (20 MHz being the width of a Wi-Fi channel) and channel bonding mode as 40 MHzoperations.

Limitations of 802.11n Channel Bonding

802.11n equipment can ultimately fail to run in the maximum (300 Mbps) performance range for these reasons:

Some 802.11n gear cannot support channel bonding. For example, this mode of wireless signaling is government regulated in certain countries like the UK

If the 802.11n network includes any 802.11b/g clients, the performance of the entire network might be negatively affected, depending on the router's capabilities. Because 802.11b/g clients do not support channel bonding, these must be set up properly with a mixed modeWireless N router to minimize performance impact

I get that same problem . 40Mhz works well on laptop but not on phones and if set to 40Mhz , N network only .older divices wont connect. So just leave it in mix mode and live with 1/2 speed . still better than any 4G mobile network lol

5ghz allows for greater network speeds but the coverage distance is less if there are walls etc between the device and router, 2.4ghz has a greater coverage distance through walls etc, but has less network speed than 5ghz
