Well both are a secondary character usually used for comedy singing a capella Celtic solo in a medieval fantasy setting in a somber tone just before a major battle - so yes it’s very very similar

I asked if it SOUNDED similiar...musically speaking, not a glaring analysis of the obvious similarities. Yuh does know when someone have zero musical talent eh.

Well the story is “A Song of Ice and Fire”.
“A Game of Thrones” was the name of the first book in the series.

But yeah I hear you.

Well we are discussing the show.

I believe winds of winter would delve a good bit away from the series. Probably same ending but they'll reach there with different routes.

From the scene where the dothraki swords started to extinguished, I knew I was in for some epicness.

I understand what they were aiming for but Gord boi, those field battle scenes were so dark and chaotic half the time yuh couldn't make out was going on...or maybe I just need glasses and a new TV...:|

Dragon battle was borse though and from the time Melisandre spoke to Arya yuh knew what was going to happen.

Kinda disappointing TBH.

I tried adjusting the brightness of the TV, put on lights, took off lights, tried turning the angle of the TV, watched piece standing up, lying down - just to see if I could see in more/better light.

That level of dark couldn't be what they were going for??

Not just us though. The amount of comments on twitter about the lack of brightness.

Saw an article this morning that the director was the same as who directed Battle of Hardhomme and Battle of the Bastards and apparently he was going for a darker tone similar to those episodes. Difference being this battle was at night.

True, good point. Would really be interesting to see what the last two books has.

^ Ben Shapiro gets attention by bad talking things. He'd probably say ice cream is too cold, melts too easily and makes no sense existing.

Anyone else realise all the main characters were standing next to eachother at the start of the battle? Whoever was standing behind that line GT cuz almost all of them live.
