i started to rewatch the season 5. it explains a lot of the motivations for the season 6.

most commenters think that jamie is moving away from cersi, that he despises her for killing tomon, indirectly.
i dont think so. the look he gave cersi wasnt fright mixed with disgust. its a bitter resolve to fight till the end. if u cant have happiness, then take vengeance.

the reason, is that he isnt a moral highstander, to be able to look down cersi. he did things that rivaled her faults, and the sum of which, may actually surpass hers. he inadvertently caused the death of their father and when time to rescue their daughter, he failed... miserably.
he is smart in the use of leverage and understands politics enough to remain alive, even though he isnt the political one.
on their father's funeral, he is the one that told cersi that they have to remain and defend the little that they have.
if anything, he put the idea in cersi's head to forget about the rules, and do all to remain above.
