Presently reading the Graphic Novel version of "Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?"
I just finished the first volume of SWEETH TOOTH by Jeff Lemire and would recommend it along with DAYTRIPPER by Fabio Moon and Gabriel Ba (some really refreshing stuff)

Graphic Novels read:
All Virgin Comics books. This includes the RAMAYAN, SADHU, SNAKEWOMAN, SEVEN BROTHER by John Woo, DEVI series and more

Some old and new HULK books. Ed McGuinness has a nice simple style fitting for The Hulk.

Some Sandman books by Vertigo.

The Black RIng

many more that will soon be listed

Presently subscribed to all Green Lantern books, (Corps, Emerald Warriors, Green Lantern)
Still being hopeful for SPAWN with it's new direction.
Trying out the new BATMAN DARK NIGHT by Dave Finch.
Recently dropped Birds of Prey since Ed Benes stopped pencilling.

Best series I read in the past couple years is Blackest Night and it's continuation, Brightest Day. Great writers and awesome artists. Brightest Day just concluded and is being followed up by Brightest Day Aftermath.

I also dropped all X titles due to the overall boring direction that they are trying to take.... IMHO at least.

Good thread BTW, will post some photos soon from the last comic con I went to in Toronto.

Hard luck, Scoobert...this thread coulda be cool, but nah.

I eh read anything in the better part of a year, but when I start back I want to continue Sandman and a few other Vertigo titles. I really doh read monthly superhero stuff anymore. Love my superheroes, but the crossover hype thing gettin outta hand. I like titles that aren't afraid to change the status quo.

i does download all my comic books from demonoid.

ah too broke to buy them!

People doh appreciate comics these days,
i used to buy the 3 newspapers almost everyday to read the comics...back when they were all $1.

it pisses me off when i see people read a newspaper and bypass the comics...as if its shiet.

they just don't get it.

dan bendis is one of the best writers i've come across, have you read the latest in Ultimate spiderman cause it lets just say thing aren't working out for him as you would have expected. Reading more main titles of Marvel and some Dc comics. Here's a great link for the lastest comics released on Wednesdays http://earth616.webuda.com/forum/index.php you need to register though.

Dude the real comic place was M.K. Asgarali on park Street. Them had everything. Wasn't old enough to buy the Playboy though. The man used to put aside Superman comics for me , yes Superman was and still is the best comic ever......
