The first episode in a new Vader Fan Film made by youtuber Star Wars Theory dropped yesterday and the response has been largely positive. Looking forward to the second one...

Saw huge reviews for Netflix's Roma so decided to watch it.

And well, 10/10.

It moves at a glacial pace, and for a while you wonder "what's the point". But it's one of those movies that I just can't get out of my head.

The childbirth scene is a harrowing & heartbreaking scene, mainly in how it is filmed. Dialogue between the main character and her child father after she finds him is quite disturbing.

Huge admiration for this film with no colour and no music (not even opening and end credits)

^ Agreed for the most part. Might rate Aquaman at about a 6.5/10

Green Book was pretty good. Both main character performances were on point. 8.5/10

Started off aight, but late 2nd and 3rd acts were ridiculous. Brie Larson's performance was a little too smug and lacked the gravitas it needed for me personally. Movie made money though, so obviously I don't know sheit.

It was kinda like ant man 2...didn't really need to make it but it was a necessity....like the end cred for Ant man 2 and well the creds for marvel...shrugs shoulders

Very good:
Love Death and Robots (18 episodes basically short film anthology only 1 or 2 episodes fall short) (RATED MA..not for children)
Spider-man: into the Spider-Verse
Widows

Enjoyable:
Hunter Killer
The Girl in the Spider's Web
Triple Frontier (could have been better)

Meh:
Prospect
Mortal Engines
Overlord (the trailer was epic, movie was a let down)
Nobody's Fool
The Happytime murders
Searching

Reviews for "The Girl in the Spider's Web" saying the same thing. Fun action flick, but not nearly as good as the David Fincher/ Rooney Mara/Daniel Craig film. Shame because that film on my all time favorite list. Still going to give it a watch though.

^ Friend sent us a copy and we watched it last night/this morning. Had a few funny moments, but seems like it was more aimed at kids. Just my opinion though. Movie is getting generally good reviews.

Watched Mile 22 last night. Was a good action flick if somewhat formulaic (and lacking a decent plot line for my liking).
Kinna had a Raid Redemption vibe with the setting and Iko Uwais was also in it as well.
