Customs and Excise officers yesterday made a multi-million dollar marijuana drug bust at the Point Lisas Port.

Details of the interdiction remained sketchy up to late last evening but the Express understands that several crocus bags of compressed marijuana were found inside a container.

The drug was found hidden among chicken parts inside a container.

Up to late last evening , Customs and Excise Division officers and Central Division as well as officers from the Organised Crime, Narcotics and Firearms Bureau were at the scene conducting enquiries.
