WI get away. At one point I thought Zimbabwe would have passed 300 normal normal. 290 still should be a task.

85-1 after 17 overs btw.

WI get the win. And they are now one step closer to the WC next year. Still possible to not go through but they have Scotland as their last match and tier fates solely in their own hands.

WI can still go through with a loss though. But with Scotland 3 wickets down maybe WI will win though.

If rain washes the match out WI would more than likely go through. They have a better NRR than Zimbabwe so in an instance where they are equal on points WI will proceed.

In the Afghanistan vs Ireland match the winner also would move to 6 points but they both have so much worse NRR than WI that barring some improbable scoreline neither of them would advance.

And the rains (and umpire) have saved WI. They win the match by 5 runs (Duckworth Lewis) and have qualified for the the 2019 World Cup!!!

There was an atrocious LBW decision against Scotland which had it not happened would have placed them ahead on DL.

Too expensive.

Remember not all the matches were televised and the DRS needs a minimum number of cameras present. They went with the rule that if they can't do for all they wouldn't do for some.

Fack all them!!! (Well with the exception of Cotterel who was in this squad but got injured)
None of them wanted to come play the qualifying tournament, let them stay home and watch the WC on TV and let the guys who in Zimbabwe now continue.

Zimbabwe has lost to UAE!!!!
This WCQ tournament is turning out to be quite the surprise party (in no small part thanks to the weather).

Tommorow's match b/t Ireland and Afghanistan is straightforward and a virtual knockout. The winner goes to the WC.
I kinna want Ireland to go through. Afghanistan lost to Zimbabwe, Scotland and Hong Kong in this tournament and really shouldn't be going though because rain fell on a few days and helped them out.
