exactly what is d criterior for choosing these players
no fidel, ravi and narine warming bench, badree???
sammy tries, but theres only so much you can do w/o talent

WICB needs to be overhauled bad!
cus all they doing is making things harder for d team, as if WI dont have it hard enuf

I doubt^,hence the reason selectors are appointed..sadly our selectors suck at what they do..

Sammy ent resigning no time. But in all fairness...Sammy is competing with Bravo for the All Rounders spot. Bravo hardly can match Sammy with the bowling whilst Sammy horrible with the bat (Bravo ent all that either ah - Avg Low 30s).

One of WI biggest problem is bowling out sides twice in tests so isn't having Sammy there more useful than Bravo. If we depending on we number 7 to pull us outta batting holes all the time then we have bigger problems than deciding on who is the better all rounder.

The irony is rich and humorous but thas the fact. All sides would like to have a genuine allrounder.

Australia have Watson
New Zealand - Vettori
SA - Kallis
England - Broad
Sri Lanka - Matthews
Bangladesh - Sakib
India looking like they have one in Ashwin

They very good (some world class) in their main discipline but very competent in the 2nd skill.

Sammy and Bravo have a weakness in one or the other skill set

all sides should have wicket keepers like these:

A.Gilchrist
M.S. Dhoni
M.Boucher
M.Khan

just to name a few,big hitters as well as real good keepers, can't go wrong..

But Stewart wasn't always a keeper. In fact I think he played as a batsman alone more than as a batsman/keeper. He was required to start keeping much when Jack Russel retired.

Alec Stewart also kept in ODIs too... he was the wicket-keeper batsman.

Last good WK batsman we had was Ridley Jacobs.

What an amazing partnership by Ravi and Roach. The failed upper order batsmen should abdicate their match fees and share the resultant total between these two...
