Based on the talent seen in this CPL, we supposed to have the best team for each format of the game....plenty plenty to choose from.....all grade A players. Of course Kameron may have other ideas ........????

Why not ? Didn't some of the batsmen show good temperament in batting ? Some batted half or more of the overs, some came in and didn't lose their head with their sides under pressure ? It isn't just the ability to block the ball that makes a great test batsmen I believe ?

It actually is.

Kohli is currently the greatest batsman not because of how well his 4 hitting shots are..... its for his temperament in being able to block and leave what need to be blocked and left alone. Yes WI have some of the best shot players in the game but it all counts for nought without the mental aspect. 20 overs is not even 1 session of one day of Test cricket btw so T20 is as poor of an indicator of Test prowess as can possibly be. [David Warner is an aberration as opposed to the norm]

Further more despite winning two global T20 titles and having countless players in T20 leagues all over the world WI still 8th and 9th in the ODI rankings and Test rankings.

It was a good win but I wonder what the chasing score would have been and the end result of the game had Hetmyer hit that second ball for six and Ronchi had lifted the cover drive for six instead if simply chipping it over the infield......in both scenarios the ball was there to be hit and they miscalculated the shots. It wasn't a comprehensive victory in my opinion .

A win by 8wickets with 2 overs remaining isn't comprehensive? Lmao

Ah setta "if" this and "if" that! You know what they say about "ifs?"
That was a resoundingly comprehensive victory. I'll grant that AW looked ominous for a moment with Ronchi and Hetmeyer, but the brakes that were put on by TKR was brilliant.
