Zimbabwe fight back....from 69/4 they are 170/4. Windies may not be able to win this one but once to see 400 plus on the board for consecutive games...

Narine highest ranked Windies ODI player

Published:
Wednesday, November 1, 2017

DUBAI, United Arab Emirates—Off-spinner Sunil Narine was the only West Indies player found in the top 20 of the latest ICC One-Day International rankings released on Monday.

The Trinidadian was unmoved at 10th in the bowling rankings alongside England fast bowler Liam Plunkett, with Pakistan seamer Hasan Ali remaining top of the pile.

West Indies captain Jason Holder is the next highest-ranked Caribbean bowler at 26th but no other Windies players have made it into the top 50. In the batting rankings, the highest-ranked West Indies player is veteran right-hander Marlon Samuels with young stroke-maker the next best at 63rd.

Indian batting icon Virat Kohli has regained the top position, 10 days after losing it to South African star AB de Villiers.

West Indies took a thumping in their most recent one-day series last September when they were swept 4-0 by England in a five-match outing. (CMC)

WI are a shiet ODI team (been so even under the T20 mercs). That is to be expected. Frankly I am surprised we even have a top 20 player.

In other news New Zealand put a 40 run whipping on India this morning...
Our boy Colin munro made 104 n.o. and became on of the few batsmen to make more than one century in T20....he had 4 lives given to him though...but made the most of it....

He actually bowled medium pace and took a wicket as well.....never saw him bowl for tkr.....didn't realise he could bowl as well. ..

Why would red force declare when they are 50 runs behind in first innings against the Jamaica scorpions.....they had 3 wickets n hand as well....
Do first innings points could in this competition......I've never see a team declare when they were behind in first innings and send the other team to bat second innings....with a lead..

I've seen this already, i guess they wanted to bowl Jamaica out very cheaply in their second innings and attempt to chase down the target quickly on the final day.

is a two sided coin.. look when root declare and WI chase down the score in the second test ... ppl say he was wrong to declare..

if we had won the game here, ppl woulda say bess declaration. hada attack.

good to see decent scores posted in the tourney though.. WI cricket need the regional scores to increase.

Ppl still Investing In that non performer called Pollard?..

Anyways red force declaration made no sense if the match was heading for a draw and they gave up first Innings points......

Was first innings Pointe awarded in this competition btw

No first inning points. They instead earnef points for bowling out Jamaica cheaply and gave themselves a chance to win. They made the game exciting.

Good show Ramdin and the management committee

If he changes his mindset, he's a little too arrogant to be that mentally stable to break it. But in a few years time i think he will

You really think they're up to it? I've been an aussie supporter for a long time, but I just don't know. Think the matches will be very competitive though.
