AGAIN!!! Lastnight on the Beetham highway around 10 pm it was reported that Beetam residents were pelting blocks and stones at cars. It was also reported that they were even pelting fire lit projectiles at vehicles.
These people should be constantly contained or the Highway should be constantly monitored.

Around 6:45pm I saw police and army supposedly towing a dump truck (on a trailer) out of the beetham by one of the entrances where the scrap iron yard was. Looks like they were going to get more as they had another empty trailer with them. Retaliation?

I can confirm this. A businessman who has been robbed at his home last year around the Laventille area (around March) while he was at his business place in Barataria came home and saw that he has been robbed. He has cameras all around his home, he went in to the Besson(?) street police station with the tapes etc.

A week later the business man gets a call from the same robber telling him that he would kill him if he ever went to the police with tapes again. Apparently the police officer knew the robber and gave him the tip off.

Probably a month has passed and he has been robbed again, same guy. He has moved from Laventille now.

It's sad though that he was born and raised around the Laventille area and didn't want to leave (don't know why one would want to stay there) but ended up having to buy a house elsewhere to protect himself.

Guess where the thief lives though?
