You read your own link as to the amount of owners polled?

Highly inaccurate.

Mazda

Reliability score: 84%
However, new cars rated highly for reliability, getting an average of 91.4%. New and used, the 2, 3 and MX-5 were the cars to have in terms of staying on the road. Many Mazdas are based on the same platforms of similar sized Fords, but the Japanese manufacturer fares much better for reliability.

Suzuki

Reliability score: 82%
Suzuki concentrates on superminis and smaller cars, so the line-up isn’t the most exciting. But Suzuki scored very well for newer cars – rated at 88.3% - while older cars provided fairly solid results with an overall rating of 77.9%. The most common problems concerned electrics, and the Suzuki Splash (twinned with the Vauxhall Agila) was the model to opt for if reliability is key.

Mitsubishi
Reliability score: 81%

Newer cars scored 90.3%, while cars up to eight years old posted an overall rating of just 75.3%. The star performer was the Colt supermini, with a miniscule number of faults reported.

When will Nissan? Image

WOW and to think I was gonna sell my Civic to buy ah B14? WTF was wrong with me????

Who knew Honda is second most reliable in the world. The most impressive scores however is USED car reliability. Allyuh seriously telling me that a used Honda Accord more reliable than a Mercedes Benz?

Not because a car is expensive means that its reliable.
I've had a number of BMW's from brand new to local used. they were NEVER as reliable as a Japanese car, namely Toyota, and what I'm telling you is from personal experience and not hearsay

What are "d usual" repairs?

I had a Hyundai Accent which was bought new from N&M in 1996. I kept that car for 10 years and racked up 343,000km on the odometer. Apart from the normal preventive maintenance, the following was done:

* Changed clutch, pressure plate and release bearing at 180,000km
* Changed LHS knuckle joint twice (can't remember the kilometreage)
* Replaced all shocks with OEM shocks at 230,000km
* Replaced radiator after 9 years (can't remember the kilometreage but it was over 300,000km)
* Re-built engine at 230,000km (all OEM parts: oversize piston rings, new gaskets, decarbonise head). Car was only burning a quart of oil every 5,000km when the engine was re-built.

I have no problem with Hyundai and will consider staying loyal to the brand.
