works fine for me been doing it for quite a number of months for all my accounts. however since the upgrade on the website the link seems to be messed up for bill payments.
not sure if they fixed that.

Has anyone switched to these new plans?

Yh, I started mine earlier this week. I had my Bmobile number on the corporate plan where I work, so I decided to clear the bill, put the number back prepaid and try to get it ported. But in the interim, I had a Digicel number for a few years already, so I let them put that on the plan for now (I took the 336 plan with 3GB Data+Unlimited minutes). Can't say much about the cost; I'm waiting until the bill comes to see if it is really unlimited, but so far, it's been going pretty good, and I believe that it will be way cheaper than my Bmobile bill because I used to go wayyy over my minutes each month.
I'm not sure if I'll ever get my number ported, as the Digicel rep says Bmobile is giving them hell. He told of a woman whose number they (Bmobile) refused to release because she was owing 1-cent on her old postpaid bill. Yes, 1-cent! And my pardner that I work with has been trying to get his done as we signed up same time and he eventually had to take a Digicel number in the interim, because each time they tried the port failed, due to Bmobile blocking them from completing the transaction.
The only issue I've had is that my data remains on Edge speeds, because I have the wrong APN settings on my Note 4. I tried sending the text to 4000, but that just sent back the same settings again, and I can't edit them. I'm gonna call them today and see if I can get it sorted out. What I like most of all, is that the rep came to me to do everything, which is really convenient.

Switched on Saturday.

The same thing happened to me and had to call customer service to get it fixed.
Either the rep in the store or the one in the main office bumbled it and just didn't enable my mobile data from their end.

Seems good so far.... Same price I was paying for 500 minutes previously

So the Digicel rep at C3 says my phone is not compatible with the LTE....but the link spann posted says yes.

What's the best way to confirm this?

Digicel 4G/HSPA+ Thread

Postby A172 » October 31st, 2018, 3:50 pm

yh i have lte on my xs max

but first a backstory:
i had a pixel 2 xl and a few months back got the sim & phone compatability confirmation for lte, followed all the steps etc. but it never switched to lte, remained with H

went into digicel and all they could say was the "area not lte ready" yet it was clearly advertised as lte area

ffwd to the other say the pixel mash up so i got an xs max and from the time i put in the same digi sim from the pixel lte came on and working good since

what i get from this is digi sales have no idea what going on and it's a hit or miss with your individual phone

Earlier in this thread or perhaps another, the poster said that they needed to have the IMEI provisioned by Digicel/Bmobile for LTE.

You know in the settings you can select LTE or 3G right, that's the only things i cold think to check again, if you say you have an LTE sim...

They are blaming the iOS itself. But really it’s the model of the iPhone you have the LTE sim in and the LTE bands it’s capable of operating with and if it’s the same bands Digicel transmitting on.

So in reality if they where giving full speed LTE those on 3G would notice the speed difference.
