Yh, I started mine earlier this week. I had my Bmobile number on the corporate plan where I work, so I decided to clear the bill, put the number back prepaid and try to get it ported. But in the interim, I had a Digicel number for a few years already, so I let them put that on the plan for now (I took the 336 plan with 3GB Data+Unlimited minutes). Can't say much about the cost; I'm waiting until the bill comes to see if it is really unlimited, but so far, it's been going pretty good, and I believe that it will be way cheaper than my Bmobile bill because I used to go wayyy over my minutes each month.
I'm not sure if I'll ever get my number ported, as the Digicel rep says Bmobile is giving them hell. He told of a woman whose number they (Bmobile) refused to release because she was owing 1-cent on her old postpaid bill. Yes, 1-cent! And my pardner that I work with has been trying to get his done as we signed up same time and he eventually had to take a Digicel number in the interim, because each time they tried the port failed, due to Bmobile blocking them from completing the transaction.
The only issue I've had is that my data remains on Edge speeds, because I have the wrong APN settings on my Note 4. I tried sending the text to 4000, but that just sent back the same settings again, and I can't edit them. I'm gonna call them today and see if I can get it sorted out. What I like most of all, is that the rep came to me to do everything, which is really convenient.
