Arrested G4S officer claims brutality

CO-WORKERS of a G4S security officer who was arrested by police yesterday are claiming police brutality after the man was allegedly beaten by the arresting officer "just so".
The security officer, Callon Serrette, was positioned outside the Nicholas Towers car park, on Abercromby Street, Port of Spain just after noon when he was allegedly assaulted, eye witnesses claim.
According to the witnesses, all of whom begged not to be named, "because of victimisation", said that the officer, acting Sgt Andy Morris, was issuing a ticket to a motorist who parked just outside Alstons Shipping Limited and went inside.
Serrette is said to have asked Morris not to issue the ticket as the driver regularly patronises the business place. A fracas then ensued resulting in allegations of police brutality.
Morris however denied all the allegations saying that the man obstructed him in the execution of his duty and he had a chat with him. He added that Serrette, resisted arrest.
Serrette was eventually subdued and taken to the Central Police Station where he was charged with resisting arrest, obstructing a police officer in the execution of his duty and annoying language. He was granted $1,500 bail and will appear in Port of Spain Magistrate's Court today to answer the charges.

The security officer was hired to work at Nicholas Towers, the TTPOST delivery guy stops there every day to drop off packages. The officer was going to write him a ticket and the security came outside and told the officer that the delivery guy just stop to drop off packages, this is his normal daily route, ease him up, the officer didnt want to be told that and started beating the security guard, the security guard dint fight back, he took his lix like a champ. The camera footage shows the police rushing to the guard and dealing out blows as the security was no where near a threatening position to the police and did not physically obstruct him from doing his duty.

Some Security guards are a bit over their heads and strongly believe they have great amount of authority. They even drive like conts.

[cs]A few months ago a security pickup rear end my car, wasn't my fault, they just weren't paying attention apparently. About 5 of them jump out and they came out threatening with a gun and played the typical "hole meh back else ah go done this man". I was like "wtmc".[/cs]

Alltrac if what you are saying is true well its his story against theirs. But the "ah coming back jus now" attitude of a small group of drivers causes congestion and reduced productivity for many.

Roach have no place in foul party.
