Accident on highway at Corinth flyover today around lunchtime. wingroad crashed into pole, dead is Dianna Goonoo of Phillipine. She was the manager of Shoe Locker,Gulf City branch. R.I.P.

35-year-old Sando woman killed in highway crash

A 35-YEAR-old woman of Philippine, near San Fernando, was killed yesterday after her car crashed into a metal lightpole along the Solomon Hochoy Highway.
Diana Michelle Goonoo, a store manager, of Roberts Road, died at the scene near the Corinth overpass.
Police said that at around 12.25 p.m, Goonoo was headed south when her Nissan Wingroad station wagon swerved off the road. The vehicle broad-sided the pole and Goonoo was crushed.
Last Friday night two men, who also lived near San Fernando, were also killed on impact in a car crash.
The bodies of Dinuj Singh, 38, of Olive Avenue, Coconut Drive, and Jagdeo Moonilal, 42, of New Settlement, Diamond Village, were flung out of their vehicle after it crashed into a wall near the Waterloo Cemetery.
This brings the road death toll to 119 according to an Express tally.

Was there around the time they were attempting to remove her body from the wreckage. Lots of people had gathered by that time to get a glimpse of the body. Fire services had cordoned off the southbound lane and redirected traffic through the Corinth overpass.

i know you meant no harm by thay statement, but its very offensive to say that when she leaves behind a child. Why would a so called loving god need her more than her daughter.

^^Unless she managed to make the car drift into the post, I don't think so. Saw the car while it was still around the post. Looked to me as though she started the turn but inertia kept her going straight, into then wrapping around the post.

Couldn't see too much as I was exiting on that ramp & the ambulance was coming down the same ramp driving forward. Nearly hit him & all cuz I wasn't expecting any vehicle coming down there.
