This GP is insane. Wet race is where it's at.

Good win for Max tho...and Kyvvat gets a very unlikely podium....

Look at the points...at this rate Max can make Bottas nervous for second and even *GASP a championship run!

Hamilton's driver error caused the shunt in the last corner where he lost his wing.

He then jumps the bollard to get into pits which is a 5s penalty. The team isn't ready for him to box and they take 50 seconds for him to change his front wing and tires.

The penalty is disastrous as you have to serve it the next stop, and in changing conditions with safety cars, being stuck for 5 seconds in the pitlane is a lifetime as every drives past you.

Then he asks where did it all go wrong.

^^Yup, they were not prepared for the pit stop. Lewis also got a penalty for making that pit stop.

well he crossed on the wrong side of the bollard of the pit lane and was penalized like any other driver would have been. .. thats their rules.

Last year German GP Hamilton went from P14 to P1. It was no where as epic as this year's race, but he still did it.

Also Hamilton deservedly built his reputation for being a wet weather racer.

I was a little confused by the comment as well. He and lando are 2 of the most honest drivers on the grid that aren't afraid to be publicly self critical

First corner gonna be interesting..... Merc normally gets good starts...but Bottas not gonna let HamilCrei pass..and Hamilcrei is behind MaxPax...with Le Creck trying to show why he shud've been on the front row...

Barring extremes of weather (rain or scorching heat), or random safety cars, there's likely to be nothing interesting about the race bar turn 1.

What makes turn 1 interesting is that the top 2 aren't the best off the line, while Ham and Seb are exceptional.
Similarly, the RBR is the slowest in sector 1, followed by the Merc and the Ferrari being the fastest.
All things being equal, there's a possibility of 5 cars getting to turn 1 at the same time.
Other than that, france 2.0
