Optimas now are a waste well the MADE IN MEXICO ones i could say...my dad paid 1600 for a red top and it gave up in less than a year...he got it replaced under the warranty tho and so far been 5 months with no problems...XS power is the best but if its last resort and u need a cheap battery just go for the eveready in pricemart as a cheap temporary fix

I used the smallest Eveready to the largest marine models they sell. All lasted without any premature failures. The marine batteries took a lot of abuse through a high current draw electric winch and music and held out fine.

I use about 3 eveready batteries from Pricesmart so far, no problems with any. Oldest is about 3+ years in a diesel vehicle, no issues

There's an Eveready in a diesel vehicle which goes months between starts. The unit is over 3 years old and that thing still cranks like a champ.

Doubt any of the "regulars" could survive that kind of abuse.

It's in very limited quantities. Is like 1 shelf of Optima vs 6 shelf of EverReady

Have 2 EverReady and both venting at the terminal. Changed about 4 terminal already.

Picked up a red top (720cca) in Pricesmart chaguanas this morning. $1,379 and 3 year warranty.
3 more on the shelf.
