There’s no stopping the success of Trinidadian vocalist Ian ‘Bunji Garlin’ Alvarez’s latest anthem “Differentology”. The soca star’s song was featured on an episode of ABC’s top-rated TV drama series Grey’s Anatomy which aired on Thursday at 9 p.m. ET / 8 p.m. CT. The song appeared in season 10, episode 10, titled “Somebody That I Used to Know.” “Differentology” is also quickly becoming one of the NBA’s new favourite arena anthems. It aired this week during the Brooklyn Nets vs. Portland Trail Blazers game at Barclays Centre on November 18 and the Toronto Raptors blasted the hit during their Miami Heat face-off on November 5.
“Differentology” has been this year’s biggest hit throughout the Caribbean Carnival season, scoring over one million YouTube views since February. More recently, the song has been making major strides in North America. “Differentology” was recently declared the reigning champion on NYC’s HOT 97 FM’s Battle of The Beats competition, which put the track into full rotation at hip hop’s premier station. He landed a nomination at the 2013 Soul Train Awards for Best International Performance for the song, and it also caught the attention of DJ supergroup Major Lazer, who immediately jumped on the remix.

It was on Greys Anatomy but how many watching actually understood what was being sung. I barely did and only because I heard it so many time during Carnival.
On FB David Rudder made a comment and people been telling him like he jealous. But he pointing out that so many other songs made it on TV and that was end of story, nothing came out of it.

Yup, not like if anyone will even pay attention to the song (the little that was played).
I still don't even think that it was even suited for the show.

Oh well, just my opinion.
Either way, the song seems to be large on the international market even before this GA thing.
