I now seeing why after event in Trinidad they always thank the marshals they really r very important an their call should really b followed

But how can you have photographers exposed to the rally cars like that?

Where is health and safety when you need them?

I don't know much about the sport but shouldn't the spectators/photographers/etc stand behind some kinda barrier for safety? I mean humans are prone to error so occasionally a driver will run off the tracks. Don't mean to add insult to injury, but standing there, while cars are approaching dangerously, without a barrier of some sort seems like asking for trouble IMO. Its only a matter of time.

the car drove into the spectator area which was cordoned off with bunting. Different from a circuit track, a rally stage is tens of kilometers long and they cannot put concrete barriers along the entire stage as they do on a closed race track.

further to that, remember when we collect media passes, we have to sign a waiver in these instances
