Heard about this on the radio..
Reports are saying people who work in the Industrial estate (not sure if it's Macoya or Trincity Industrial Estate) are unable to get into the estate. Police have blocked it off, epic cars parked on the shoulder of West bound lane by lights, as these people can't make the u-turn to get to the estate.

times like this you does miss Jack Warner as the Min of Works, he was decisive and the PBR would have been opened hours ago, everytime I see the E-W corridor have these traffic situations, I does think back on how he was on top of these things with quick decisions

I think it was more personal than that..
Those panel vans don't usually carry any big set of money, do they?

The man that got shot and killed is my real partner...

A guy of African descent - goes by the name of "Clarky".... "moles" on his face...
Used to always come by us to collect money from the cashiers etc...

Very Very nice, genuine guy... A real gentleman who never passes anybody straight...
Remembers everybody that he meets by name...

Used to move around through POS in a big red (old) Sentinel Bedford truck on evenings... sometimes they would use that white panel van.

Really can’t believe it...

R.I.P. my brother!

By the way... That's Not ASSL (Amalgamated Security Services Limied)- It's Sentinel Security Services Ltd - Two different Companies

Please change the Title!

Elite, opening up the PBR this morning would have been a tragedy since it was already a gridlock with that accident on the PBR

Agreed. No such option for the N-S persons though.

Has the carpool use of the PBR been terminated though?

carpool scheme was renewed afaik check mowt site

so is ah accident AND a robbery? daz why it take me almost 90 mins to travel from rima to POS this morning- plenty traffic between trincity and tunapuna

Of Course it was a robbery!
No one could have anything personal against that guy... I could vouch for him.

Those vans ALWAYS carry endless money.
They collect approx One Million from our company alone and they make several other stops before they deposit.

Sentinel is (IMO) one of the least secured companies to collect money but many use them because of their low cost and charges, and since the various companies have their money insured - they don't really care who carries it and if it reach the destination etc.

Same thing I figured.....What ever where in those countless, big brown packages in the back seat of the Ranger maybe the cause of this whole scene. Dont look like money bags to me tho

Ok, because I know as big a company as ASSL is they carried money more securely.

The fact that it's SSSL would explain a lot.
