Only brought down robust things like tools but never had a problem with them. I prefer to ship delicate items like televisions a courier who ships via air. Yes you pay more but the item spends less time in their hands...less chance for something to go wrong...

Worst possible experience, somewhere along d line meh TV get mashup, dey tief d remote, power cable, manual, down to d packing slips an invoices gone but given the TV was rel big to fit it i jus unbox it and put it in my car with all the bubble wrap and styrofoam without checking as i say it inside is when ah reach home ah get the surprise.
Two, three proof pics and 5 minutes later talking to original seller and bam money back for item and for freight forwarding by seabox. Seabox as all local crooks take d low path and say dem eh know nothing about da I accept the package, them eh see. They went as far as to discredit the seller, who mind you i by TVs from already and ship here via them.
Thank god for US sellers who at least have some understanding.
Anyone else had an experience like this? Who do you use to bring in LARGE TVs?

I brought in several items with seaboxtt. A alloy/carbon bicycle with tons of small additional parts, clothing, supplements, shoes, and never had an issue. All items received in proper condition and everything was all there.
I guess ymmv

Kool, but I talking about a complete car engine, more like 500 pounds, $1000 US.car wrote:android79 wrote:Anyone here have any experience importing an engine from the US? what is the best sky box/sea box to use and approximate cost?
Bought 2 49cc engines already. Skybox. No issues. Both shipped from Canada. It was only about 10 pounds.
One got damage where the air intake connects to the engine. But it was an easy fix.

South branch. My experiience thus far was fair however they have lost one of my package.
This is how you can determine how good or bad a business when you have a problem.Customer service is very poor I realized as they did not respond to my email in a timely manner and the representative indicated that they will call me in 10mins ...that took all day. They still have not found my package and told me that they sent an email to their warehouse in Miami so as soon as they get a response, they will let me know the position.
It seems like the I have to wait on them; no timeframe was provided so could be a day or a year. How am I supposed to know??
Im paying for this service yet I am being treated as I am asking for a favor. So based on my experience I certainly will NOT recomend them nor will I do business with them in the future!

correct, the seabox manager was very distasteful and refused any form of accepting liability despite my item was damaged in their possession.
Look i order another item that reach since Jun 29th and only TODAY August 21st i received it and like dey more vex dan me when i calling for updates. SeaboxTT is the worst, just don't hope for them to lose or damage your stuff.

Hear this
If i bought something from amazon, and it was defective, so i send it back, they agreed to ship me a new 1, would i have to pay all fees? (Customs, duties etc) i know i will have to pay freight.
How that does work?
My warranty exchange for a Seagate hard disk for example:maj. tom wrote:How it's supposed to work is that the package would be issued a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number by the seller/skybox company and they should fill out the invoice stating it was a warranty return item, therefore duties have already been paid. The customs officer should be able to scan the number to verify it has been issued.
butttttttt....... it's TT customs occifers, so....
