This letter is only required once. SeaBox will keep each letter on file for continued reference.
1. Cargo valued in excess of TT$20,000 will require a Customs Declaration (Entry) be filed with Customs. This relates to both Trade and Non-Trade items as well as personal or registered companies.
2. As it pertains to item 2 above, All customers that must file and Entry must be registered with Customs. SeaBox will guide you through the process and provide the necessary forms for registration. If you are a VAT registered organization, your VAT number can be used. This registration applies to both individuals and companies.
As we work through this process with Customs we appreciate your timely submission of the requirements. We will continue to update you as information becomes available...
