The cost of this civil infrastructural scope to revisit Walla Field for a (2) day event will be considerable, if only just for CMRC. The venue should be put to regular use in order to get a bang for the bucks spent and the best returns.

Therefore, what reassurances have you received from those in authority to continue afterwards, or is this still being negotiated ??

In the short time I have been involved with motorsport, I have never seen such anticipation for an event...especially as it is the long awaited Return to Wallerfield.

I have also never seen such a willingness on the part of the TTASA executive, to meet everyone halfway. I mean, just look at Jameer's replies, so tactful and well tempered.

I wont even go into the nuances of the past, nor close my eyes to the obstacles of the future, but if ever we could all come together to re-live this great venue if only for a weekend...then we must put our grouses behind us.

Oh sure there'll be some hiccups, some ill-tempered and abrasive comments leading up to the day and even ON the day....but how sweet it would look in pictures and vids, after that day passed.

If I may, i have been looking at some pics that Nizam Mahommed and Tanko Baboolal have been sharing on facebook...pics of the good ol days...lots of Minis, Escorts and RXs'.....wouldn't it be nostalgic to have a few of these old classics present for that weekend?
I can just imagine the scene...

I could talk to the guys from the Trinimini Club, The Ford Club, The VW Club and the T&TV8 Car Club and bring some of the really cool ol school cars up to wallers...not only to display...but to make a "Lap of Nostalgia".

What do you think? Wouldn't that be "AWESOME"?!
