Most of us are always interested and willing to support such a worthy cause.

This event is on the 16th August and today is the 13th August, just a few days shy of an important support cause.

The question now begs, why was the date advertisement posted so late ?

This statement is not intended to take any focus away from the event's importance and hope that it does not affect the turn out of the day. But Please !

Congrats to the Zorce/TriniTuner.com team for copping first place overall at the inaugural Celebrity Drive for Cancer today!

Our team comprised of Narend Sooknarine, Duane Boodasingh, Simon Rodriguez, Nigel Sambrano and team coach Kristian Boodoosingh.

We did the fastest team time on the dexterity course and got fastest time overall.
This was combined with our scores in the Cancer Quiz, bike riding and reverse parking contests to get the top score!!!

Congrats also to the other teams who participated including Kiss Baking (The Fast & the Fabulous), Guardian General, CNMG, Lifestyle Motors, Toyota Trinidad & Tobago, Jaric Environment, Safety and Health, Cancer Society and Arrive Alive.

AutoSport Racing was delighted to be part of this first edition of the Celebrity Drive for Cancer staged on Sat 16th August at Pier II. Great effort by Andre Crichlow and his Pudgy Productions Team which saw a whole new set of patrons and participants and sponsors being exposed to an event with a difference.

Also say a special thanks to all of our Team Coaches and special mention to Rae Smith, President of TTKA for his truly professional Master of Ceremonies performance. Roland Jaggernauth of CARS for his support on behalf of CARS. TTRC in the persons of Ryan Peyrau, Simon Rodriguez and Hannah Morris, even though they all have to compete at TTRC Rally today Sunday 17th Aug at Bronte. And of course the committed AutoSport Team for their all round support, and the also having to turn up at ARC today Sunday 17th Aug. for the staging of D&W #7.

He couldn't drive for us though. Just coach.

He did put down a 34.0 which I think was the fastest time for the day. Narend did a 34.3 and I did a 34.4

And what's your point.

That the best young driver, the best online magazine and the best printed magazine principals are the best drivers? Really! Yes, take win! Well done.

But there was another race with two young drivers in the Suzukis? No Comment?

nah every one drove stock 2014 Suzuki Swifts and Toyota Corollas

I think one of the swifts was a 2013 and one was a 2014, but all new cars.
