I don't have pics but a friend of mine was riding his bicycle and he ran into a truck by TYE in Caroni and he died, broke his neck. He was basically coming down the side of the highway with cars coming towards him head on, so when he turned to go into the road by TYE it looked like both him and truck hit head on, he died within 10 minutes. What made it worse the road was wet and to go into that road by TYE is actually a DECLINE.

This is why it is never good to ride against incoming traffic, I see people do this sometimes and it is a VERY bad idea.

He has 1 kid and triplets on the way. Very hard working guy, really feel sorry for what happened to him

Doesn't work the same way for cycling as it does for walking; where they advise to walk opposing traffic so you can act if you see something coming. He probably didn't get chance to react... Sorry to hear that.
Is going with traffic that much better; you not seeing what coming to kill you.
