In the last 36hours there have been three accidents on the Diego Martin highway, the first yesterday involved a car hitting the median and bouncing a pedestrian, causing serious injuries to the guy, the second happened a few hours later same thing a car hitting the median. I don't find it surprising at all. The road surface is constructed without a camber, and with very few drains. There is pooling of water alongside the centre reservation. Quite amazing when you see that the road is built right next to a gully and drainage would be so simple. Obviously an oversight when the road was designed. If this was a litigious society, there would be lawsuits attributing the accidents to the lack of drainage.

Diego Martin Highway always have accidents in reoccurring spots namely the first bend after leaving the Boulevard heading southward. I saw fresh car debris there again a couple hours ago and many median barriers totally out of alignment throughout.

Any more details on the first Four Roads accident? Turns out that the driver is someone I know but hearing different stories about the incident.
