how did you guys handle your first heartbreak, kind of going through one at the moment and it's killing me, especially when I have to see her nearly everyday

Use the opportunity to work on ur acting skills. Act like ur happier, that u have changed in the ways she wanted. she may make a move to see if u still want her and at that point tell her hsmc....part of what is killing u is that u feel she is the only girl u could get and u know that she knows it.
