Fellas my 13 month old boy get mash up bad with the virus. Is only weekend his mood get better but he still has little or no appetite and he have a dread cough. Plus some serious crusty eyes in the morning. Doc said it was the virus but i worried about the lack of eating. Carrying him back this evening for a follow up.
Wanted to know if anyone had this kinda experience.

Carried my son this morning by Dr Leslie Persad in St Augustine (he opens at 6am and I really wanted my son to see a doctor before i went to work)...he had runny nose, coughing and loss of appetite.

The doctor said it appears to be a bacterial infection as there is no fever. Prescribed a few meds (this is new to me because the other two Peds we go by - Dr Warris and Dr Lakheeram generally do not prescribe medicine because of the age). Also advised there is nothing to worry about.

We will monitor today for continued drinking habits.

Hit her left side of her forehead on the wall. I was in the shower at the time. Hear the sound faintly and the immediate cry after and ran straight out of the shower. I slipped and fell flat on the ground. Lol. I think our immediate reaction was a little extreme cuz baby seems to be fine. She got a little bump but all her behavior is completely normal. No signs of concussion etc. But my wife and I still aren't talking after that incident.
Just thought I'd share. Hopefully im not alone and not the terrible parents that we are feeling like for letting her hit herself.

Pal my son is three and a half and every time I am in the shower I swear I hear him crying.

around that age my son was in and out of mt hope a few times well for coughing/fever etc
it reach the point where i started including the wellkid vitamin without even asking the doc
after 1yr was better but i continued the vitamin up to this date
since then lil colds are few and far between, although its healthy for them to get one occasionally

that augmentin helped my son get over his lil crap back then.....about the 3rd day he was more than 50% better but it may cause diarrhea with so monitor it and let the doc know if it starts

tussadryl will knock the crap out of him and make him sleep well but we had better results with diphenel

one of those helped us tremendously in mt hope so i eventually got one

https://www.amazon.com/Omron-NE-C801-Co ... =nebulizer

does ur kid sleep in A/C? if so it dries out the air aggravating the the nasal issues

i also bought a humidifier and a humidity gauge, you will be amazed as to how dry it gets with the a/c on
and it did help with the stuffyness

^ He actually is much better since we visited the doctor, he has regained his appetite and dispensation and only has the cough. The Tussadryl really did make him sleep last night, however he rarely coughed at all. I am holding off on the augmentin just because I not too enthused about antibiotics at such a young age.

He does sleep in A/C but I have one of those Vicks humidifiers with the vapour "thingy".

Not sure if it was covered but don't use the regular Vicks on kids younger than 2. The ingredients in Vicks VapoRub can irritate the airways and increase mucus production. There is a baby Vicks with a pink cover that uses Rosemary. Get that.
What do you guys use for insect repellent ; currently I use the simba stickers.

My boy just over 7 mths. and he's all well and good. Other than slight fever he never got the virus, cold or otherwise. .. Not even Hasolee(think I spelled it wrong). Dr. Parag said he on point. Started fruits an cereals when he was 6 mths. he told us to introduce vegetables when he's 9 mths.

Their case price of the Enfamil regular [the two 16.6oz sachets in a box] is $744 which works out to $186.00 a box (there's 4 boxes in a case).
Pennywise sells this Enfamil for $184 so they are actually $2 cheaper on a box than the distributor who would require you to buy a case as a minimum purchase.

Anyone knows of anywhere else that sells Enfamil at more competitive prices or is Pennywise the cheapest??

There's a place somewhere in Balmain my wife's aunt buys Enfamil for $95.00 / Tub an $150. / Box... Not sure the name... We just give the money and she deliver. Will find out.

Since my previous post on formula prices Pennywise has gone to $194 a box. I suspect when I went to Bryden (mid June) a price increase had happened but Pennywise was selling previously bought stock at the lower prices still.

Pricemart has those Enfamil for $185 a box. Everywhere else (Superpharm, Massy, Tru Valu, Exellent Stores) are $200+. Dunno how and why people buy baby formula in those stores.

Dunno is this is the correct thread or not. Mods feel free to move if necessary -
My son is now 9 months old and we have a bag of clothes mainly 0-3 and 3-6 months to give away.
Most items were worn a few times some were worn just once.

He was always above average in length at pediatric visits (I'm 6'4" so no surprises there) so we upsized pretty quickly clothing wise. My wife packed the bag but I know there are onesies, socks, hats (including a cool Minion and mickey ones I personally hate giving away) in it.
If you all know any needy family with a baby boy in that age group I would be willing to give to them.

I have the RECARO Performance SPORT Combination Harness to Booster.

It is heavy and is a bit of a pain to move. Recently we have been moving it from one vehicle to the next as my mom has my other seat to pick my daughter up from school every now and then. If it stays in one car then it's great though. The other seat we have is the ProRide convertible car seat which was light enough that we took it with us when we flew to Miami.
