I have seen older cars carrying a "newer" series number plate. But what is the legal procedure for getting a "newer" car to get an older series number plate? How is an Evo VI carrying a "PBC" plate? Is it that "CLO" thing I have read about on this site? I want to change the number plate on my car to a "PR" series (Phoulorie Rory) number plate. Thanks in advance.

There is something called a "rights", which enables you to license any car. You can buy a foreign used that came knock down ,and put the "rights "from another car of the same type on it,which involves cutting off and rewelding the chassis no. from the old/crashed car onto the new one. You can pay a tout in Licensing office to transfer the "rights " to your name either before or after the above mentioned process. If you cannot get one the same model, you can use a motorcycle "rights" . Sometimes you see these "rights " advertised big and bold in the classifieds. The only problem with buying them is that other people will know your business and put it up on social media and sites like Trinituner. If you have money and connections you could buy a CLO instead.
