Kamla and the UNC will never sway the voters they need with their nice, approachable and down to earth personality they pushing. They out of touch with the voting public.
Trinis don't respond to nice. They require abuse and high handedness.

The general public responds to people being arseholes as a leader. It shows that they are willing to get things done at whatever cost when crunch comes. It's like the buff bully football player stereotype, but yet he is still the most popular figure at school because people know he gets the sheit done, despite how he steps on the toes of the weak and timid. This is how you're seeing certified arseholes as leaders all of a sudden in the world... USA Trump, UK Johnson, TT Rowley. I suspect it's a response to the climate of political correctness and retarded feminism and the people can't take it anymore so they vote it a tough leader, albeit how stupid and unfair their governance is turning out to be. In the grassroots and rural voter population these kind of leader click hard and fast with their type of thinking, and hence the unexpected clown circus victories at the polls.
