Well according to ZR you iz a PNM. So this is all to force ppl to register for your drag meets, time attacks and rally racing. This is just to provide more money for the financiers like Trinituner and Syrians like the Amar's.
Now the poor man can't afford to speed in his Tiida. Only the rich Imbert can blow pass ppl in his Porsche Macan.

The announcement was made Friday by the Minister of Works Fitzgerald Hinds.
The law is to be gazetted on Monday and as such will be in place to allow for citizens who violate it to be ticketed. The fine is $1,000.
Hinds warned however that the coming weekend is not to be taken as a free for all to speed on the nation’s roads.
Hind said most of the fatalities that occur on the nation’s roads are preventable and are almost always as a result of bad and distracted driving.
He said statistics from a pilot speed trap showed that when the limit was set at 80 kilometres miles per hour, more than 500 people were in violation in one location. Hinds said this was a significant step towards making the nation’s roads safer.
Hinds said he has not heard any public call for the 80 kilometre per hour limit to be increased.
The introduction of the speed guns was announced at a press conference at the Ministry of Works and Transport in Port of Spain.

I saw None!
I think this should be a pre-requirement before charging people for going over the speed limit- Have proper signage and also change the speed limits. 80km for highway is terrible.
i dont know what the law in the US is but there is a speed sign every few hundred meters
