A lot of it was regurgitation of what we've heard before. The rest...take with a grain of salt:

New Info:
*Projected growth of between 2-3% over the next three years.
*Expected increase in GDP which will (mathematically) drop the Debt to GDP ratio.
*Heritage and Stabilzation fund has increased in value.
*Waiver of Property tax to the end of 2017 (no retroactive tax)

Heard before:
*Exchange rate stability
*Clico issue almost cleared up
*Projects: Expansion of roads, Housing
*Revenue authority coming on stream

We not out of the woods yet:
*Increased oil prices means higher prices at pump (at $ 70 per barrel, Gas Subsidy is approximately $ 800M)
*Floating prices at the pump by year's end.
*Still about $ 10B deficit between budgeted revenues and expenditure (so basically not one arse has changed)

The funniest thing was the man want to claim astute management for the current low inflation rate. It eh have nothing to do with the fact that demand has been stifled because job loss and the rising cost of living have people penny pinching.

Grate is the Pee oN deM...:|

"Reward incompetence" seems to be the motto of the PNM. Only Bamsee Squeezer get fire so far, but given JUHN Scarfy's utter disdain for us, he might tacka and get a playback like Two Plate.

Moody’s says T&T outlook stable

Moody’s Investor Services has given the T&T Government a rating of BA 1. With a stable outlook. In a May 10 credit opinion, the rating agency cited, “large financial buffers, high wealth levels and significant international reserves.”

However,” the agency added: “Those credit features mitigate credit challenges related to a policy response that has been unable to offset the impact of low energy prices on the Government revenue. A steady rise in Government debt ratio has contributed to an erosion of sovereign creditworthiness.”

Is there any chance of PNM legalizing Cannabis for recreational purposes?

Would Dr Rowley be willing to attend a scientific debate on the important of Weed as a medicine?

Not in this lifetime.

And if he does, only de 1% will benefit.

We do not have leaders in T&T, we have followers.

Well that is the point-demo s changing all the time
We no longer numerically denominated by xyz till ah dead

the voting population gets its info from wider and more diverse sources

proportional reduction in 2 parent families means that, in combination with younger parents mean that its less likely that younger voters inherit their politics from their parents.

right now I would bet that a large proportion of the population have voted for more than 1 party, and/or are willing to do so based on info.

Tribal allegiance is no longer the dominant factor it used to be
