JCET Moves Into High Gear

As the Joint Combined Exchange Training (JCET) between the U.S. Southern Command (SOUTHCOM) through the U.S. Embassy, and the Trinidad and Tobago Defence Force (TTDF) and Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS) comes to an end, please be advised of increased military training activity from September 23 to 30.

On September 23 training will take place in the Long Circular and Queen’s Park Savannah areas; on September 26 -27 there will be maritime training in Westmoorings and Chaguaramas and on September 28-30 large military aircraft will land at the Piarco South terminal.

JCET is part of a series of engagements planned over the last year which provide opportunities for U.S. and TT elite units to work together, learn from each other, and strengthen relationships. The training began on September 5.

JCETs are conducted annually with Trinidad and Tobago and similar training exercises are done with other countries in the region.

It isnt about SAUTT as an org or the people..

SAUTT was a tool.

So as with any tool its either the right tool or the wrong tool-if its wrong fix it.

As with any tool we either need it or we dont.

They killed it so the assumption has to be either it was the wrong tool or we didnt need it.



Having thrown out the old tool(SAUTT) what did the GORTT do to fill the gap???
The last 6 years shows we need A tool.

Sautt was a good idea but the unit itself was a black hole for the disappearance of funds and filled with nepotism. Only a bunch of old arses that didn't accomplish anything during their normal public service being over paid posers.

A bunch of thieves also, after the unit was shut down they stole down to bathroom fittings and parts off the unmarked vehicles.

If it's just a kidnapping, why hasn't a ransom demand been made as yet? Well at least it hasn't been reported that a ransom has been made.
If no ransom has yet to be made then I would rule out kidnapping.
