Charles: Duke to blame

Tobago House of Assembly (THA) Chief Secretary Kelvin Charles yesterday launched a stinging attack on THA Minority Leader Watson Duke for the failure of the Tobago Sandals project. Charles said blood is on the hands of Duke, with respect to the withdrawal of the project.
“I say to you, ladies and gentlemen, I have only just begun to speak on this issue, but I say to you today that if there is blood on this project, then that blood is on the hands of the Minority Leader,” Charles said at the weekly THA media briefing.
The Chief Secretary also criticised Duke for describing workers in the hotel sector in a negative light— “as bellboys, bellgirls and water fetchers”...
