Pastor Caught Raping Child

A SAN Fernando pastor was arrested in Sangre Grande for allegedly sexually assaulting a 14 year old girl.

The 26-year old pastor, of Pleasantville, was allegedly caught in the act by police officers.

On Tuesday, residents informed police that a child dressed in school uniform was allegedly seen in a man's vehicle on their street.

Officers responded and allegedly found the man having sex with the school girl under an almond tree at the side of the road.

The pastor was taken into custody by the Sangre Grande police, and the girl was interviewed by officers of the Child Protection Unit.

The suspect was expected to be charged with statutory rape.

He is expected to appear before a Sangre Grande magistrate.

the law has made other responsibilities too like no DUI no speeding no dark tint, no talkin on cell phone, wearing seatbelts....how much of those other laws the avg trini jus disregard on a daily basis??

or the girl has a history of sexual abuse from the pastor (or relatives) from an even younger age so she thinks its normal now

Yall kidding in this life yes. At 14 plenty dem gyul ready to bull but they just dont consider they not ready or able to afford mining child. Thas the age when nature does send yuh out to look for it and real man gonna get in trouble. Them gyul want man to mine them like a replacement father. I too cheap and to poor both to entertain that, but i cant say there's anything wrong with it. The taboo of age difference that came in intermittently is dissipating with these generations. That shyt really doesnt matter. In all, young and old it just comes down to either having fun or finding a suitable and compatible mate. And fellas and girls bullin since 13 in my generatin when i was in secondary school. Lost my virginity at 13 to a girl that finish school. Dont regret it. We're still good friends today and she married n stuff. I had sex education. I was responsible. If u dont know this is normal life of teens u living in a bubble. My cousin is currently dating a guy 36 and she is 20. They work together and dating years now since she was 18.

Just have to be responsible and stop overpopulating the country with children they cant afford to mind. All 14,15 they lookin for more than kiss, is suck breast and finger and all that illegal with a minor(legally stipulated age of consent). Pastor needs to get charged if he knew she was underaged. No two ways about it. He could argue about the ethics of the age of consent on a different forum later if he feels that strongly about it.

The girl and parents need some counselling. IDK what went on or what the girl experienced before that brought her to this position but whoever dealing with this should get all the background first before seeing how to deal with it.

I being harsher on the guy because he is a lot older and should be more mature. Also it seems as though he was the one in charge of the situation (his car so he pick her up and have some power over dictating the movements. Also he is older and has an income where as she is younger and does not so there is more power is his hands there as well).
